This Privacy Policy applies to TargetICP, which was developed and maintained by TargetICP Inc. It governs our handling of information about site visitors, potential customers, and customers (including authorized users) who interact with our services. For simplicity, we refer to these individuals as "you" throughout this policy.

However, this policy does not cover information related to a customer’s end users, which TargetICP may receive or process on behalf of a customer as part of services provided to the customer. In such cases, the customer acts as the "data controller," TargetICP is a "data processor," as defined in applicable privacy laws.

If you are a customer’s end user and have questions about how your data is collected and processed, please contact the organization that provided your information to us.

1. What We Collect and Why

At TargetICP, we believe in collecting only the information we genuinely need to provide and improve our services. Here's what we collect:

Identity and Access
When you register for a TargetICP product, we may ask for personal details such as your name, email address, and possibly a company name. This allows us to personalize your account and send you relevant product updates. Also, we may be able to send you surveys to gather feedback on how we can improve our services.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties or use your name or company in marketing materials without your express consent.

Billing Information
If you subscribe to a paid TargetICP service, we will ask for payment details such as credit card information and billing address. Your credit card details are processed directly by our payment provider and are not stored on TargetICP servers. We retain a transaction record for billing purposes, including the last four digits of your card number, and store your billing address for invoicing, sales tax, and fraud prevention purposes.

Product Interactions
We may store content you upload or receive within our platform. This ensures you can retrieve the enriched data when needed. This data is kept as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your content will be removed within 60 days.

General Geolocation Data

For most products, we track the IP address used to sign up for an account and retain this information to help prevent fraudulent signups. We also log account access by IP address for security purposes and keep this data as long as your account is active.

Website Interactions
We collect details about your browsing activity on our site for analytical and statistical purposes. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visited, and how long those pages took to load. If you are logged in, this data is linked to your account until you deactivate it.

Advertising and Cookies

TargetICP may display contextual ads through third-party platforms such as Google or LinkedIn. If you interact with one of our ads, a third-party cookie may be set to help us assess the ad campaign's effectiveness.

We also use cookies for functionality, such as storing preferences and assisting in analytics. These cookies may track your browser type, operating system, time spent on the site, and other interaction data. You can control cookie settings in your browser, but disabling them may impact some service features.

Voluntary Correspondence
If you reach out to TargetICP via email or a support request, we can store that communication, including your email address, for future reference. We may also consider any survey responses or interview recordings if you agree to participate.

2. When We Access or Disclose Your Information

We access your data only when necessary and share it in the following circumstances:

-To provide our services: We may share information with third-party service providers (sub-processors) who help us deliver the service. A complete list of these providers can be found in the Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and is available on our website.
- For legal compliance: We may disclose your data if required by law or in response to valid legal requests (such as a subpoena or court order).
- protect against fraud: If we detect fraudulent activity, we may access your account to investigate the matter, but only as a last resort.
-Aggregated or de-identified data: We may share aggregated, anonymized data for analytical purposes.

3. Your Rights Regarding Your Data

You have several rights under privacy laws:

Right to Know: You can inquire about the types of personal data we collect and how it's used.
Right of Access: You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.
Right to Correction: You can request corrections to any inaccuracies in your data.
Right to Erasure: You can request that we delete your data (subject to certain limitations).
Right to Restrict Processing: You can limit how and why your data is used.
Right to Object: You can object to processing your data in certain circumstances.
Right to Portability: You can request to receive your data in a structured format to transfer to another service provider.
Right to Non-Discrimination: Exercising your privacy rights will not result in less favorable treatment or service from TargetICP.

Feel free to contact us directly to exercise any of these rights. So, as you know, some rights may be restricted by applicable law.

4. How We Protect Your Data

All data exchanged between you and TargetICP is encrypted using SSL/TLS technology. While most data is not encrypted at rest in our database (to ensure availability and performance), backups are securely encrypted.

5. What Happens When You Delete Content in Your Account

If you delete content within your account or choose to cancel your account, your content will become inaccessible and will be deleted within 60 days.

6. Data Retention

We'll make sure to keep personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. After that period, data is either deleted or anonymized. We may also retain specific data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
